Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a continuous nervous system ailment that impacts the nerve cells in the spinal cord and the brain. This causes an imbalance in the muscle. It is sometimes called Lou Gehrig’s disease, named after a baseball player that was diagnosed with it.
