Why should I be concerned about my cholesterol?
Too much cholesterol in your body means that you have an increased risk of developing some form of cardiovascular diseases. If you have too much cholesterol in your body, the cholesterol can build up inside the walls of the arteries that carry blood to your heart, and to other organs. This buildup, which occurs over time, causes less blood and oxygen to get to your heart. This can increasingly affect you in a variety of ways which include having chest pains, developing arrhythmia, and more fatal conditions such as strokes and heart attacks.
